CACSD is an administrative organization that supports the Child Advocacy Centers of South Dakota and does not have direct involvement in cases. Child Advocacy Centers receive referrals from Child Protection and Law Enforcement for evaluation of children for suspected child abuse and neglect. If you suspect child abuse or neglect, it is recommended to contact law enforcement where the child is located and child protection. South Dakota’s child protection hotline number is 1-877-244-0864.
